The project
On this project, we delivered all the steel work: structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
This Groupe Germain project is located in the heart of downtown Calgary. At the base, two separate towers — one housing commercial space, the other the Hotel Germain — join at the 15th floor. Luxury condos occupy every floor above.
Technical challenges
We are proud of our 100% Québec workforce: every structural and miscellaneous steel piece was fabricated in our Québec City shop.
Field measurements, change directive follow-up and close communication with the construction manager were essential. Our installers ran the site for just over a year.
